Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process efficiently and ensuring timely acquisition of materials and supplies.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives
- Procure materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies as needed
- Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular inventory control
- Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing

- Match up packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure complete delivery and correct pricing

-Communicate with shipping and inventory to ensure that hardware kits are ready for product builds

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in procurement, materials management, or supply chain management
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and procedures
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective vendor relationships

-Familiarity with QuickBooks
